ALUMNI INFORMATION
If you marched for Royal Oak High School, Dondero High School, or Kimball High School, you are invited to join the ROHS Marching Ravens for their annual Homecoming Halftime Performance.  RSVP by email to: rohsbob.info@gmail.com with subject “Hoco Alumni Band” followed by your name, instrument and grad year. (Ex: Hoco Alumni Band:  Joe Cool - trumpet 2015).

  • Jazz Band (JB) - Starts in January, meets Tuesday and Friday mornings at 7am, and Tuesday after school from 3-4:30pm.
  • Jazz Ensemble (JE) - Starts in January, meets on Thursdays at 7am.

  • Pep Band (PB) - Starts in January, play at home basketball games with rehearsals from 3:30-4;30pm and games at 7pm.  Wear Raven's head T-shirts and jeans.  See Mr. J for a complete schedule!

Uniforms
ROHS band ensembles always perform in uniform. 
  • Boys will be issued a tuxedo jacket and slacks and are responsible for care and dry cleaning throughout the year. Boys must also provide the following items to complete their performance attire: white tux shirt with wing tip collar, black bow tie, black cummerbund, black dress shoes (MB uniform shoe is acceptable - no athletic or casual shoes are permitted) with black dress socks (crew length is required, no ankle socks). Tux shirt, bow tie, and cummerbund discounts at Men’s Warehouse - 31921 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak.  Group number for the discount is 4205.10300. Our shirt preference is pleated with wing tip collar.​
    NOTE ABOUT TUXES: The tux fittings at school are only for the jacket and pants (which are supplied by ROSD); this date needs to be attended by all needing tuxedos.  The Men's Warehouse discount (at your convenience) is only for the tux shirt, bow tie, and cummerbund, which each student needs to supply/purchase. 
  • Girls must purchase the concert dress (other non-uniform black dresses may not be warn). Girls complete their performance attire with black dress shoes (mid- to low-heels) and nylons (optional, must be flesh tone).
  • Auxiliary Ensemble Uniforms  (jazz band, clarinet choir, jazz ensemble, etc.) maybe different than standard formal attire. Any uniform variations will be mutually decided upon among the members of each auxiliary group.
